Shizuoka Sencha

Shizuoka Sencha is a traditional Japanese green tea made from leaves grown in Shizuoka, Japan's largest tea-producing region, by steaming them shortly after harvest. The steaming process brings out the fresh, herbal, and vibrant character of the leaf.

The Story of the Name

Suggested Preparation Method

For hot brewing, steep 4–6 g of tea in 200 ml of water at approximately 75°C for 2–3 minutes.

For cold brewing, add 20–25 g of tea to 1 liter of water at approximately 24°C, refrigerate for 24 hours, and then strain.
