Knocker Upper

Knocker Upper is a powerful, full-bodied yet balanced blend of Indian, Sri Lankan, and Kenyan black teas. The malty depth of Assam combines with the bright and slightly citrusy character of Ceylon tea, and the distinct body and dark color of Kenyan teas.

The first sip reveals warm, malty notes. This is followed by a brighter aroma and a moderate bitterness; leaving a long, clean, and full-bodied finish. Despite its robust character, it has a lively taste reminiscent of classic breakfast teas, without becoming heavy.

The Story of the Name

Suggested Preparation Method

Steep 2–3 g of tea in 200 ml of 100°C water for 3–5 minutes. For a brighter and more balanced cup, steep for 3 minutes; for a stronger, richer tea, or one meant to be drunk with milk, steep for 4–5 minutes.
