Füruğ is a caffeine-free, layered blend that combines the elegant floral character of rose with the tangy vibrancy of barberry, the aromatic herbal aspects of coriander and tarragon, and the warm spices of cinnamon, cardamom, clove, and nutmeg.

Caffeine Content

This blend, which does not contain tea leaves, is naturally caffeine-free. Therefore, it can be comfortably enjoyed at any time of day and in the evenings.

How to Drink It?

• Simple: The floral character of the rose, the tartness of the barberry, and the layers of warm spices are felt in the most balanced way.

• For sweetening: A small amount of honey softens the tartness of the zeresh while bringing out the rose and cinnamon flavors.

• Served on the Iced: When brewed, chilled, and served with plenty of ice, the rose, tarragon, coriander, and barberry are more vibrant.

• As a cold brew: The floral and tart aspects become more pronounced; the warmth of cloves, nutmeg, and cinnamon takes on a more controlled character.

• With food: It pairs well with almond cookies, rose-flavored desserts, zerde (a type of rice pudding), rice pudding, cream-based desserts, baklava, and white chocolate.

Suggested Preparation Method

For hot brewing, steep 4–6 g of tea in 200 ml of water at approximately 100°C for 3–5 minutes.

For cold brewing, add 20–25 g of tea to 1 liter of water at approximately 24°C, let it steep in the refrigerator for 24 hours, and then strain.
